The Piano Teachers Forum Festival is a non-coompetitive opportunity for students who are evaluated by professional adjudicators.
National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) founded in 1898, is one of the largest non-profit music organizations in the nation. The NFMC is made up of 6,500 music-related clubs and organizations with over 200,000 individual members. The NFMC offers opportunities for talented musicians by conducting annual competitions. The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) is another branch of four world renown conservatories in the United Kingdom (Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music, Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama). The Royal Schools of Music offers graded examinations in 30 instruments, theory, practical musicianship and singing. Exams are conducted twice a year in over 80 countries throughout the world. The Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) was founded in 1886 as one of the leading music institutions in Canada. RCM conducts three sessions of Examinations to Canadian residents every year at over 300 test centers across the country. RCM offers a Certification Program for musicians who complete up to twelve grades of examinations to become an Associate of The Royal Conservatory of Music (ARCT).
